EXS + SBLive (APS ASIO)

I'm running EXS on a system using SBlive card with APS ASIO drivers (which of course run at 48000). I'm getting a lot of clicks on playback - the system is slow so it's near to the limit anyway, but I wondered if this was something to do with the fact that a lot of my programs are built around 44.1kHZ samples? Does anyone know if this is likely to be a problem using these drivers (as opposed to audio files at 44.1 which definitely are). Thanks Pete
