any news on an update for ESX24??

any news on an update for ESX24??

2002-01-23 by resomania

I'm considering purchasing the ESX24, but I was wondering if I
should hold off until Emagic releases the next major upgrade for
it? does anyone have any idea whether an upgrade is in the
works?

Well, its always been the case (to date) that EXS is actually part of logic,
so every time you update logic, EXS is updated too - there is no independant
EXS updater. I cant imagine this situation changing - from what I understand
from earlier slips there are already changes in EXS in logic 5. I dont think
these changes will be in a 4.x update though.

so you're saying that you only have to buy updates for Logic
(once you own the EXS24) and that includes any updates they've
made to Logic?
