[exs]OT Mac Copy or Move only ?? that's the question !

Hi ,
a first confirmation from an Apple programmer :
"when u simply move something, its location is memorized in a cache memory
( on the HD), that is the Cache location...
when u copy, this is not the case... no cache on the HD are made.
the locationCache can be corrupt..."

more to come.....

Hmmm. What does any of this amount to? In all my years, I've never had a
