EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi, I'm a brand new user of the EXS24. A friend of mine @ Emagic lent me a
copy, and I don't have a manual.  I have a TON of questions....but the main
one is, what exactly does this thing do?!?! I know that sounds silly, but
let me explain......I have a small analog sampler, the Boss Dr. Sample, and
I kind of expected this EXS24 do something similar, i.e. record a piece of
audio, trim it up, and loop it back....I can't even come close to getting
this thing to do this...

Can anybody walk me through the first few steps? I'm sure I can take it from
there...I have a pretty extensive knowledge of audio software, this thing is
a just  abit weird.

my advice: stay away from the EXS-24. i'm not sure you will be able to
handle it.
