EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

In the LA5 manual addendum it states there is an EXS manual addendum pdf
on the CD. I can't find it on mine. I know I have a very recent ver5
install CD, because it installed LA5.0.1. I just wondered if  the EXS
manual addendum was on the original ver 5 CD ?

This guy links a EXS "update" manual from emagic.

but I don't think its that recent. The cover page is dated June 2001 Version
1.0.

My EXS paper manual (purchased about a month ago) is dated October 2001
Version 4.7.2

Yes I have that, what I'm referring to is specifically mentioned in the
5.0.1 manual addendum. But it could be ambiguous. they might be
referring to the EXS CD and not the LA5 CD.

Hoi together,
does anyone know if there is a way  to create Akai-CDR�s from exs-samples? I
got an AKAI CD3000 Sample Player and would like to make a CD from some of my
EXS Samples.

Don't know any free way at the moment, but we'll do that today in Translator.

Is it possible to "burn" CD´s with translator? I think the AKAI Player only
reads AKAI CD´s

Not technically (there's no burning code in it), but you can make Virtual 
Drives (disk images) that are formatted to Akai. You then take most any 
burning software and burn the Virtual Drive to CD, and voila! you have an 
Akai CD.

We just finished doing the code for EXS->Akai; it'll be in the next build 
tomorrow.
