FYI .....

I downloaded the Akai samples and had the same issues, I own a copy of
Vsampler ( www.vsampler.com ) which can convert the Akai S5000/6000
format to SF2 which EXS24 can read. After performing this very tedious
conversion, I found a link to Awave Studio 8.2 http://www.fmjsoft.com/
Which looks like it can do the job in batch mode (which would have saved
me a lot of time, though I havent tried it.

hello all,

Michael Schoenfeld here,

CDxtract + Vitrual PC 5 + and G4 with a goodly amount of RAM
(which of course, all EXs24 user's should have anyway) equals
VERY successful and glitch free conversions.

It has never failed me, and I have primarily used it on a G4
titanium.

All the best,

Michael Schoenfeld,

Hi e'body
I've tried to use Rubber Chicken Translator (the demo), converting
immediately the unzipped file of an AKAI mapped sound (s-1000 or s-
3000). The only problem (but I think it dipends because it's a demo)
is the cutoff a little closed. But it works.

Ciao

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
