hi

ive had a look in the archives and the manual, im sure ive read 
somewhere this is possible.

i want to move a bunch of selected zones as one single entity 
say from middle c to c4...is such a thing possible?

Yes. Thanks to another list member, I learned how to do this. You have to
specify a key command (do a search for the term "move"). It's something
along the lines of "move selected zones up/down and change the root key
accordingly." I use the function all the time now. It's the next best thing
to drag and drop capability. Works great. -Jer
