EXS24 Samples folder

EXS24 Samples folder

2002-04-23 by jcmusicsg

Hi all.
Advice needed.
I have 3 hd's on my computer.
My main audio programs (Logic V5) Wavelab, ect, are on IDE channel 1
on motherboard.
My r/w ide cd rom is on IDE channel 2 on the motherboard.
My audio files are on a seperate drive on a ide controller card.
My downloads and MP3's are on another seperate drive on the ide
controller card.
My question is where is it best to keep the EX samples folder??
In the Logic folder? or on another drive?
Will it help to have it on another drive? or is it best to leave it
in the Logic folder?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Allan.

Personally, I have found that the EXSamples folder has become surprisingly
large so I put it on one of my drives(partitions) that sees the least
activity and has the most space available i.e. not the System drive or the
Audio drive. Jon
