nevermind!

nevermind!

zone panning is working after all...maybe just not in "real time" as you're
editing?

while editing.

You have to save your edits and have the instrument loaded and selected in
the arrange window to hear changes in editing. At least that's been my
experience. -Jer

ah yes. which reminds me...chop bits off an audio file in the exs
audio edit window and silence results when playing the key
corresponding to that audio file in the exs instrument. yet if i
perform some other operation on the audio file - fade, normalise,
silence - the exs seems to be happy enough to play those
changes without all the hassle of moving back and forth.

strange behaviour from either:

a) logic

or

b) me

whaddya think?

Not you. I've complained about this more than once. It really ticks me off.
As a result, I avoid trimming samples, there by wasting hard drive space,
and resorting to simply moving the start point. I'd rather not do it that
way, but productivity is more important. I can't believe Emagic didn't fix
this in 5 or 5.1. A major disappointment to me, since it is, in fact, a
flaw. -Jer
