GC Midi files in Apple menu question

GC Midi files in Apple menu question

2002-06-20 by p_j_isaacs

All

A few weeks ago, the very esteemed Mr.Persing posted the trick of
putting the GC midi files in the Apple start menu.

I finally got around to doing that, and although I can see them
fine, I am unable to 'tear' them off, I can click and they'll open a
new Logic song with the midi file in there, but I can't drag them
onto the current arrange page.

I've checked all the posts I could find, yes I have got a midi track
selected - can anyone help.

I'm running 9.2.2 on a G4 533, Logic 5.1.3.

Thanks in advance,

Peter Isaacs

hi peter

if you click the directory which contains the gc file you need (one
step back from the specific gc file you're attempting to open at
present) the folder containing the gc file you want is opened.

andy.

Wow! quick response - thanks Andy.

Right, I've had that happen - I obviously picked up the wrong end of
the stick - I thought you could drag the individual files off the
menu.

Cheers
