Hi there,
I'm a laptop user and until today I've had very bad input latency as well.
BUT you laptop users out there using a VX pocket need to download the latest
AISO driver for the VXpocket...2.60. It has a new option that lets you
vary the amount of latency. Set to it's lowest setting...A huge improvment.
And yes playback is spot on.

Cheers
julie

EXS is sample-accurate (there is no better timing). Latency is entirely
dependent on you computer I/O and Hammerfall makes the best interface for
minimal latency (essentially measurable by the ear). Compare? Of course.
Don't use an EXS with a laptop for live shows. MIDI input latency is not too
good. Output is impeccable.

Not a bad idea, Judy. But I have noticed an affect on ASIO load when I'm
really pushing my system already. Still your suggestion may benefit me in
less taxing situations. Thanks for the tip. I'll work with it some more.

Hey Jer,
I don't know if you work like I do, but I tend to go thru phases where I'm
doing mor input that out and vice versa. It may be that for now you just
change settings between the two. I don't know I'm hoping it will work for
me. I was very encouraged in any case.
