I have been experimenting with retuning samples within exs.
You obviously could retune each sample that is used. That may also
require you to reset the loop points.
To microtune the complete keyboard, you need to make a zone for every
single note for every group,
[except those notes which will happen to fall at the exact 12tET (twelve
tone per octave equal temperament) intervals that they would in 12tET].
The way I have done it is to set the tuning of the samples at exact
12tET frequencies, and then to use one zone per note, adjust the
nearest 12 of an octave of the zone to that note, and finally to fine
tune each note for each group to the nearest cent.

Having set up a complete keyboard once it is then possible to make
adjustments to only the changed values between different tunings.
e.g. Change all Ab's to G# etc.
or to change the samples used whilst maintaining the same tuning values.

WISHLIST FOR DEVELOPERS!!!!!!

It would be great if later versions of exs could have a finer resolution
than to the nearest cent.
This is necessary to achieve the correct "beat frequencies" for
simultaneously sounded notes.
