EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

i'm trying to get a (rather) small/portable CD-ROM or DVD burner for my
TiBook.  i know that there are plusses and such with DVDROM, but it it worth
the cost of the hardware and media at this point?  can users of either type
of media choice tell me what they're using and their success/experiences
with it?

I have a dual-800 G4 and haven't used the DVD burner yet (around 6 months).
I'm sure I will, but it isn't a huge deal to me until I really get a bit
further into video production. Since my hard drive is about 60GB full,
burning to DVD for backup isn't really an option. I use a 120BG external FW
HD for backup purposes. DVD will be good for, well, DVD burning I suppose.
