EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I need to translate a large number of Roland MODs or CDs to 
EXSas MOD drives dying.  So I connect the MOD drive to the 
external SCSIbus on the Mac, and when Translator won't see 
that, I put the CD-Rom safety copies in the internal CD drive, and 
Translator won't see that either.  What am I doing wrong?  
Please reply privately, as I'm going away for a bit, and will sign off
