Hi, i´ve got probs with the Exs24 while playing a track and searching for a new Sound at the same time, sometimes Logic Gold crashes and my Audiowerk2 also. I must boot my system again, whats wrong ? everything worked so fine. I´ve got a PIII 800Mhz, 256MB, IBM 30GB, Win98Se only for Audio and the whole orginal emagic equipement. Can someone help me please ??

I've experienced this too. Don't do it. I know that's not the answer you are looking for, but I never thought twice about adapting my habits to prevent the problem from occurring. Perhaps later versions of Logic will be more stable.

when i'm loop mode, it crashes too,
solution? stop playback before changing the sound.

Any one know precisely when 4.7 will appear?? I am gagging to get it and sort all my samples out. Also can anyone recommend a medium to low price sound card for the Mac which will give some 'beef' to the samplers sounds. I want to sell my Akai, but not till it sounds the same. I don't know about beef specifically but the delta66 (midiman) sounds great in my B&W G3. It also _works_, which is not a given when it comes to macs. I think they're going for about $3-400 now. There's a cheaper model (with less I/O), the delta44. Dave
