amount of standards growing...

Well, I'm sure the growing amount of standards put more and more working
load on software companies. They don't sell more. They just have to develop
in more standard (VST, DXi, MAS, ProTools and now AU). It seems to resemble
the old DOS times when every program had to bring in it's own printer
drivers...

I'm sure they are not amused!

The cool thing about AU and the Mac standard is that it WILL be a faster
latency and it WILL be more CPU efficient. That's a big plus. Sounds like
the support will be there with NI jumping on board right away. Very cool.
But a VST wrapper would be very cool. It would be even better if it
supported the OS9 plugins. That would be amazing. -Jer
