New 24 Bit EXS24 Sampled Instruments From Bardstown Audio

New 24 Bit EXS24 Sampled Instruments From Bardstown Audio

2002-10-03 by bardstown_audio

Bardstown Audio has recently released two more sampled instrument
library collections in native EXS24 format as 24 bit sampled
instruments... "Vintage Jazz Guitars and Tenor Banjos" and "Classic
Accordions," in addition to our previously released "Bosendorfer
Imperial" Concert Grand Piano.

The "Vintage Jazz Guitars and Tenor Banjos" collection features
Acoustic and Electric Gibson Archtop Jazz Guitars and a Gibson
Mastertone TB250 Tenor Banjo. Included in this collection are both
pick and finger samples of all of these instruments with multi
velocity layers and release samples, which capture the sound of the
finger coming off of the finger board.

The "Classic Accordions" collection features the very best
professional line of Vintage Accordions with a huge variety of sounds
covering many different styles of music.

We have also previously released our "Bosendorfer Imperial" Model 290
Concert Grand Piano in native EXS24 format, which is the only 24 bit
sampled piano in the world, and being a 2.26 gigabyte sampled piano.
This 24 bit EXS24 Bosendorfer Imperial features four velocity layers
of pedal up samples, four velocity layers of pedal down samples, and
release samples, which capture the sound of the performance hall that
this piano was sample recorded in. This sampled Bosendorfer Imperial
is considered by the vast majority to be the best sounding and most
playable sampled piano in the world!

On all of these sampled instruments, each and every note at all
velocity levels and articulations have been sample recorded, and with
no pitch shifting or any notes.

[exs] Using what version for EXS

2002-10-04 by Evan Benjamin

I'm thinking of buying Quantum Leap Brass (theres a sale at
http://www.soundsonline.com/, btw) and I'm wondering if there is any
advantage to buying the Akai 1000 version over the GIGA version. Any
opinions?
