have u tried single and double clicking on the midi in/out display of the
transport? don't know if this works... vsti's do not behave like normal midi
instruments, that's for sure.

Yes.
Shift+help is my keycommand for that and it works on external devices but
not on the EXS-Instr.
I bet there is some setting in the preferences (Reset Messages)I have
missed.
But I have tried that too.

Hi Michael,

I think just double clicking your "stop" key command resets everything for the VSTis. I know when I have a hanging note or something, double clicking "enter" seems to fix it.

Hi Michael,

I think just double clicking your "stop" key command and then "play" resets everything for the VSTis. I know when I have a hanging note or something, double clicking "enter" (and usually then hitting play) seems to fix it.

Just try to activate another track in your arrange. If that doesn't help
when switching back to the EXS track (which sometimes is the case due to
some weird buffer switching it seems), try to bypass the EXS and switch it
back on. The usual panic procedure doesn't help.

Regards,
Sascha

O.K.
Thanks to you all.
Esp. you Sascha who probably gave the best answer (as usual).

I say in a cheerful rythm:
Logic for PC just for the cause of Sascha !!!!!! ;-)
