EXS24 mkII: Love it, but heads up on...

Love the new features: -HP and BP filters -Mod Matrix! (Finally I can get my breath controller integrated without Environment workarounds. Finally there is an easy way to get AFTERTOUCH to control pitch, etc.) -LFO 3, even if it is just a 'triangle' wave -Expanded sample select/crossfade functionality Heads up on: -CPU usage. It is definitely using more CPU, especially with the filter on. -Filter sound. Is it me, or do the filters self-oscillate much earlier? The whole resonance character seems to have changed slightly. -When you use crossfading, the polyphony goes to the maximum number of group samples for the note or notes that you are playing, even if one or more of the samples are silent. I guess this is a sort of 'cache' of potential samples. But program some wild Wavestation- like sample sweeps and then play chords: instant 64 voice count! -Limited routing destination choices in the Matrix. How about Filter On/Off? etc. We want to control <everything> :-) -Reset to mkI modulation. Is it me? but I don't see anything for amplitude modulation (tremolo) by default. (It's easy enough to set it up by hand, however.) Wasn't that half of the original volume mod slider (the other half was pan)? Overall, especially since I am a Windows user, this is a great update! I was waiting for this before deciding which soft-sampler I would convert my huge library over to. I think now it will definitely be the EXS! Collard
