  hi all,
i'm looking for the esx instrument files that are supposed to be
installed from the esx24 cd. i can copy the samples folder but the
installer refuses to recognize logic 5+ and install only the
  instruments.

  thanks,

I once uploaded them to my webspace, but since my provider came up with
unknown problems (won't be fixed before middle of the week it seems), they
are currently unavailable. Maybe some other kind souls have them saved
somewhere (the ones on my HDD are totally resorted)?

Sascha

how big is it when compressed? man i hoped emagic would have it on
their website, i'm not alone in this, the cd i bought a month or two
ago at steves in montreal was pre-5.0, so its logical they should
provide an alternative since the plug is now built in and the cd can't
recognize 5+ Logic versions!

btw i haven't heard any of the supplied samples-instruments...are they
any good?

so if anyone has the time to stuff the folder with only the instruments
that came with the esx24, i would truly appreciate it....
mailto:kim@...

thankyou

Some are, some aren't. There are quite a few rather useable
instruments though, esp. used in a mix (non-solo).

If anyone needs them, mail me privately. I don't want to run the
risk that I'll be sending something you already received 10 times --
and maybe there are others who need the files as well. It's very
small when zipped, so no worries there. I think my 'Factory Sounds"
folder contains the instruments from the 1st CD as well, so you might
end up with some double instruments, but that should be easy to sort
out.
