For the orchestra lover in you

For the orchestra lover in you

2002-12-18 by Ned Bouhalassa

Pricing has been announced on the upcoming EastWest-Quantum Leap Symphonic
Orchestra collection. It might seem like a lot of money to some of you,
until you start comparing it to other collections, like M. Vitous, for eg.
As they state in their official announcement, "Over one terabyte (1000
gigabytes) of samples were recorded". Guess that means a BIG box of cd-roms
(or a small pack of DVDs!). Oh, and it comes out to 2.99 a gig of samples
(not bad at all...).

I have inquired as to whether there will be an EXS version of this library
(I have hunch there will be).

Ned (has a month to figure out a way to explain this expense to his wife)

In response to many inquiries, pricing for the

EASTWEST / QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA

has been announced as follows -

Vol. 1 - Strings ($995)
Vol. 2 - Woodwinds ($995)
Vol. 3 - Brass ($995)
Vol. 4 - Percussion ($495)

The four volume package is $2995
(Vol. 4 - Percussion will be virtually FREE with the complete package).

Payment options for the package are available. Please call EASTWEST
(1-800-833-8339 - or email sales@...) for details.

The library will be premiered at NAMM (Jan 16-19, 2003). A limited amount
of seating is still available, so please contact namm@... to
reserve your seat (please indicate preferred day/time).

For those that can't attend NAMM, a DEMO ROOM will be available at EASTWEST
in West Hollywood, California by appointment from February 1.

A WORLD TOUR is planned in Q2, 2003.
