Audio CD to AIFF/WAV

Audio CD to AIFF/WAV

2001-02-21 by Emanuel Frey

Hello all,

Is there a Program around to convert Audio CDs to AIFF or WAV in one batch?
Sometimes it would be really useful to have something like this to convert
whole library CDs that just come as Audio CDs and to import them later into
the EXS 24.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you're using a Mac. I suggest Audio Extractor (which comes with
Toast). It's very meticulous--not the fastest program, but very accurate.
Stick the CD in and come back when it's done.

Barbabatch - AudioEase.
It's simply the best thing if you're a MAc User

For PC users, the best program for audio-ripping is exact audio copy.
It´s the only program I know of which really ensures to have bit-
exact copies of your audio-cds. Also able to do the whole cd in one
run, of course.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
