Lowering the tone for a moment . . .

Lowering the tone for a moment . . .

2003-01-14 by mjmartin64@btinternet.com

Hi --

Many thanks to all . . . great resource. I, however, am not in your league...as a new user of the EXS24.

I don't want to clog the board with my level of questioning -- so I'm just putting my name (and e-mail, if that's ok) out there for anyone who wants to drop me a line directly to review slightly more basic matters. There might be quite a few of us neophytes silently observing.

Thanks again for all the energy put into the discussion,

Matthew

As I'm also on a lower leauge I personally think it would be a good thing to
keep the questions on the board; no shame in being new to a product!

Agreed. Just ask whichever questions you have, no matter how basic
you regard them to be. This group is full of knowledgable and
helpful people who don't mind for a second to answer basic question.
By letting yourself get scared away by the non-basic nature of many
discussions, you don't do yourself a favour -- and in the long run
the list won't benefit either.

As a new lurker in this group, and one who knows Pro Tools well but
Logic and EXS very little, I have found this forum to be VERY
interesting, especially the late copyright concerns and replies from
Eric Persing and others who run companies. As said before ALL
questions should be relevant, beginners or advanced.... USE THE
information flow in a group like this! I have been using Internet user
forums since 1991 and they are a fantastic resource. LET INFORMATION BE
FREE!

cheers
Bert
