EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi -

Does anyone know if the archive at ftp://ftp.akaipro.co.jp is still 
around?  I'm having a bit problem accessing it it it's still there.

What's the story?  Is it gone, sometimes available/sometimes not, or 
just so busy that it's hard to get a connection?

Yes, it's hard to get a connection. It has probably gotten a lot more
popular over the last year. There are a limited number of access points.

Any possibility of getting these on a 3rd party computer? There's no
copyright issues with the raw samples is there? It would be fun to
compare notes on making our own 'power-user' patches for EXS with a
common source of raw waves.

I've been trying for a few days now, repeatedly.  Is it something that 
you can usually get to after trying for a few minutes?

Probably more like every hour or so, or day. If 50/50 people are
downloading, you're waiting for just one to leave, while other people are
attempting the same thing you are. 50 connections is hypothetical. I have no
idea what the real number is...
