Thanks for the fabulous reminder! I hadn't put this technique into good use
since it was discussed a while back. I've found that using app. 65% + dB
xfading works best for me.
The only drawback is that with some libraries (Dan Dean Clarinet, for eg),
I get phasing when moving the modwheel. Not with SAM Horns or Garritan,
however... ;-)
