Teddy,

I'd like to try this song/patch out, but it's a true pain converting to any
other but your very setup (in my case that'd be a one-card-ASIO
configuration).
The reason for that is a) that you are using different hardware assignments
for different audio objects, so automatic conversion to any other hardware
type has to fail (a well, a partial Logic bug though, it should at least try
to convert as much as possible...) and b) that even when I delete anything
else but the "arrange active" audio objects an resave, conversion will still
not work (surely a 100% Logic bug). Even trying to copy things manually (in
the audio config window) from Direct TDM to ASIO miserably fails because
Logic is complaining about a missing ASIO configuration (which of course is
plain bogus).

It's really amazing how such simple things haven't been adressed since at
least 4.0. Apparently "inter system compatibility" (and I'm not even talking
about Windows compatibility here) is very low on Emagics priority list.
Weird, especially considering that cooperations through the net or sent in
CDs have become a widely common thing.

Any chance you'd do an ASIO-only version of that LSO?

Cheers,
Sascha

Well, I was just setting some object to ASIO and loaded the EXS there, no
big deal - still amazing me though that you simply can't load such songs
into any other setup...
Btw, there's some pops on the end of some notes.

Heh - yes, just like that.

I don't know, for me with loops it's all about how freely I can handle them
in terms of both harmonic and rhythmic content.
That's also why I almost only use pretty dry drumloops without any special
FX treatment or big rolls/breaks and the likes.
Actually, I just tried with your pattern, and it works in quite some tempi
which is good. But as said before, personally I don't like stuff fixing me
too much to one tonality - and unfortunately the EXSMkIIs new transpose
function including the funny remote thing doesn't work on recycled loops as
it changes the keyboard input rather than the pitch of the actual zones (why
oh why is that?). If that was any different, one could just drag the amps D
slider a bit down (to have a permanently short decay even when things are
pitched down) and use the transpose remote function to go through some
different keys (PPro allows to do exactly that which is pretty funny at
times).
Would be great if the transpose remote could also adress tune rather than
transpose.
