EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Am I understanding this correctly, the Digidesign 001 has built in 
I/O access within Logic Platinum Windows?  

Is this the same way they did it with Audiowerk?  I don't need to use 
ASIO2? 

I'm trying to find the best card for the EXS24 but I want 8 analog 
ins and outs.  It comes down to 001, Layla, or Delta 1010.  Layla and 
Delta use ASIO2.  I know 001 supports ASIO2, but I'm seeing that I 
may have super-tight EXS24 performance with the 001 in Logic 
(Windows) running WinME?
