EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

hi -

i am almost afraid to ask, but i have looked for the answer to no avail, 
and must come here for help. apologies if i have overlooked something 
staring me in the face.

with a song playing (lamg 4.5.1), when i push "stop" in logic everything 
politely stops playing except for the exs, which proceeds merrily along, 
probably forever if i did not arm "record", which stops it immediately. i 
am at wits end,  and clearly i have no good solution at hand. 

does anyone know what to do to make the exs stop when it should?

Hi Bunk,
I don't know if I've experienced the exact same thing but what I have
noticed is that the EXS will continue to play to the end of what ever sample
or samples are playing when you push stop.  If your sample were long...could
this be it?

hi,

thanks julie. long samples are probably the culprit then. good to know i 
am not alone with it. maybe 4.7 will fix this inconvenience too.......i 
just figured out how to use the pause button to stop it. one more 
keystroke in my life isn't too high a price i guess.
