EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

When selecting a few times the "Next EXS Instrument" via the button on the right of 
the selected instrument name on the EXS window, or via the shortcut key (you have to 
assign it first in the prefs), Logic crashes (quits unexpected).

The bug showed in Logic 5.5 but is still present in 6.1.

In version 5.5 and 6.0.0 Logic quits unexpected.

In version 6.1 Logic is blocked and you have to use "Force to quit" (sometimes the 
"Try to save your song" dialog appears).

I am exclusively using Mac OS X, so I don't know if the bug appears under OS 9.

Did any one noticed the same ?

I noticed this bug in Logic 5 on OSX and was hoping it would 
have been fixed in version 6, as the EXS is often my primary 
instrument in Logic.

It does not happen in the OS9 version, which I am currently using 
for the majority of my projects.

I hope this will be fixed soon.

I noticed this. I solved the problem by finding that the instrument that it kept 
crashing on wasn't really loading correctly anyway. it was a bad conversion 
from either Translator or the direct AKAI Import. Once I removed that bad EXS 
instrument file from the hard drive (sample instruments) it did not crash and 
instead went on to the next instruments.

Not sure if my problem is the same as yours, but if it is, then at least I was able 
to fix it.
