wave editing in esx24?

wave editing in esx24?

2003-05-18 by erick_rouge

Hello. I hjave used halion , kontact, and other soft samplers, and one thing I noticed
the esx24 is missing is wave editing!

How come? Why is it so many options just to load and edit a wave?

Actually, EXS-24 has lots of onboard editing, albeit basic, just click one
of the "E"'s in the editor (not the spaceship). There is a samperate
convertor, an Energizer, more.

That doesn't seem to be a lot, unless I'm missing where you are coming from.

Maybe the real answer to your question is that samplers like EXS or HALion
or Kontakt don't need to reinvent the wheel - there are tons of wave
editors out there, free and commercial. I remember when SoundForge was on
sale for $100. Just use any of those on the sample files.
