EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Yes. I have LAP 5.5 for windows and im pretty much a beginner in all 
this. My question is... Is there a way to speed up a tempo on a wave 
sample imported into Logic. I have a song with exs instruments and 
set to a specific tempo and I wish to import a wave to match that 
tempo.. 
Also.. Question #2
Every once in a while I go to import or open a file Logic completely 
cuts off and what ever i had gets lost. I dont understand the 
behaviour..

Any help would be much appreciated.. Thank you.

#1 Import the audio file into Logic and open it...you'll see the 
waveform.  In that window, in the Factory menu, you'll see the Time and 
Pitch machine...first option.  Open that and you're on your way.  It's 
pretty self explanitory.
#2.  Are you saying that Logic quits...Are you opening a song....with 
another song open...I'm not understanding "what ever I had gets lost"

When I either go to open a song, save a new song, or even try to 
import a wave file. Logic cuts off and exits the program and I have 
to relaunch it. It happens whether a song is already open or not.
