The tempo of the song has something to do with this as well. The faster the tempo the more that is missing. Though I've never experienced your trouble with the EXS. I haven't noticed this in OSX so, I'm gonna have to second that OSX thing. Happiness for me is all the stuff I tend to use is now AU and OSX. Yeah! Goodbye 9.
