Re: [gsp-2101] How do you get a good "tube" amp sound?

Secret..... Turn off the compressor and hear the differance.

Glenjamin.
Also I'm very pleased with my 16 Lbs power amp that is NOT tube. Tube power amps make a big differance when you lift them. :-)

            I have a 2101.  I'm wondering how you all get a real "tubey" sound;

that rich, warm, glowing sound... as opposed to a harsher solid state

sound? I imagine proper EQ'ing? A tad of phaser on slow??

I've learned so much so far, and a BIG thanks to ya'll AND Glen. Mark
