I typically use a flat global EQ except to appease the house sound guy. Hari I would recomment using a added 15 band to your patch and using the wet/ dry mix to dial it the tone then tweek the effects section. Then save it with Grahams MIDIWizzard as backup.

MIDIWizard has a feature for managing
different Global EQ settings. You can use this feature to quickly
reconfigure your 2101 to accommodate different speaker cabs with different
frequency curves. Also, if you change from a guitar with single coil
pickups to one with humbuckers, you can reconfigure the Global EQ from
MIDIWizard's library so your programs sound good without having to edit each of
the programs to accommodate the different pickup response
curves.
