It works fine! But you mustn't only change the EPROMS. You have to change the EPROMS (or the Software), the crystal, the capacitors and the coil (to make it perfect!). Oh and not to forget.... a very important point is, to adjust the gain of the preamp- section. Because the 2101-gains have changed over the years of production. I think it's the potentiometer P9. I normally set it to the Artist- gain- value. And today- you have to build the PPC (because it's out of production)... create the layout .... and so on... If someone is interested I could post a hardware- "help your self" message
