the picture confuses me, because , there is an input on the amp for the guitar, but the input beside it should be an output, because it has a wire going too the front of the 2101 input... does that make sense... Most Amp heads have an FX loop, so lets put this to work for us. Use an instrument cable to connect the Amp head's FX loop out to the Left (mono) FX Loop return of the 2101. Take another cable and connect the 2101's Left Output (mono) to the Amp head's FX loop return" That's the "hardware" part of it. There's also options within each program, here's from page 7 of the manual - scroll through your program for the FX Loop and you'll see: Bypass : The FX Loop Returns are off, and completely ignored. Summed : The FX Loop Returns are summed together with the original signal using a 50:50 ratio. No Sum :If plugs are connected to the FX Loop Return jack(s), they are the primary signal source. If there is no signal present at these jacks, you don't hear anything from the GSP-2101 Artist. I don't have the unit in front of me, or I would have shared from that, but I do have access to the manual right now. Hope that helps! --- In mailto:gsp-2101%40yahoogroups.com, "Rickenbacker" <richard.johnson@...> wrote: > > How do you hook this up too the effects loop and do you have to do something to the 2101 to turn on the effects, i cannot figure it out in the manual.. > No virus found in this message.
