In order to read "0" when pedal down and "127" when the pedal is up, you must use a little trick: when calibrating the pedal, don't push/pull the pedal all the way, but leave just a little space in both positions. This trick is especially necessary if you want wah to sound like "normal wah". To simulate the knee that "normal wah" have you should minimize the path from closed to opened pedal. Note that short path of the pedal probably won't sound good on other patches, so calibrating an external pedal this way might be a good idea... ...or even better idea: use Crybaby...
