Noise is not excessive its just apparent.  The gate cuts it out but when holding a note or chord and letting it ring out, there is a backround buzz or hiss.  Or you set the Gate too extreme and it cuts out to early.  I have only noticed it in certain high gain settings and distortions (sat. tube, ect.) Or on specific Presets with such settings.  Cleaner presets seem not to have this problem.  Using Parker Fly Deluxe and Gibson SG to Morley Bad Horsie Wah to Gsp2101 Artist Pro. 3.00.00a (stereo) to BBE 882 to Marshall 9200 (4) El34- (4) 6l6 to Marshall 4x12 av with Vintage 30's all running from studio quality Humbuster Line Isolator and Power Conditioner.  Looking for High Quality Tube Preamp that is very quiet.  Any thoughts/experiance, (Egnater, Soldano, ect.)  Thanks. Rock on 2101 Users.

I run the 2101 thru a marshall 8008 power amp and then into a couple 
1960b cabs - sounds great with no hum on any of the presets.
