gsp 2101 algorithm creation

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CREATE MY OWN ALGORITHMS USING DELAY AND REVERB. I HAVE
COPIED SETTINGS OF OTHER ALGORITHMS I LIKE. AFTER I SAVE MY NEW ALGORITHM THE
DISTORTION SOUNDS GREAT BUT THE DELAY AND REVERB SOUND HORRIBLE. ALSO, NEITHER
WILL WORK WITHOUT THE OTHER TURNED ON. I AM RUNNING MY GSP IN FRONT OF A
MARSHALL TSL 100. I TRIED RUNNING IT THRU THE EFFECTS LOOP AND IT SOUNDED
TERRIBLE. BECAUSE MY AMP IS MONO I AM USING MONO DELAYS AND REVERBS. SINCE MY
ALGORITHMS ARE SIMPLE I AM USING AUTO LINK AND NO MIXERS. IS THERE SOME SPECIAL
WAY YOU HAVE TO PUT THESE EFFECTS INTO A NEW ALGORITHM TO MAKE THEM WORK? I
KNOW ONE OF YOU GUYS OUT THERE KNOWS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. PLEASE HELP!!
