Hi, I have a Digitech 2101 and footboard on its way to me. (Control 1 footboard along with 2101 3.00a w/ dual processor chip). I'm asking if anyone has input on initial steps in using it, being I'm a novice with this device. Basically things you learned that are not in the manual. I had a Podxt Live (wasted 6 mths of my life-OUCH!..with it!) so I'm not a complete novice with these things. But I figure its best to "start right to finish right".
Also, I've read up on loading patches from others (guess I'd been spoiled having had the Line 6 Editor and USB hookup)...but what are my best options for doing this?

I really can't think of any "silver bullet" type of tip to give you 
other than to find a few of the preset programs that you like and then 
start tweaking from there.  Personally, I think the 2101 is very user 
friendly and you should be able to jump right in without too much 
trouble.
