Guys
I need ideas for a good 12aT7 to replace the 12ax7 in V1. I play
pedal steel and need low distortion but good gain (Think Twin Reverb)

I have a few RFT 12AT7's that sound pretty nice in the 2101.
Ebay has a truck load of em.

They are just a brand that I have experience with.I bought 10 from a pal of mine. I think he said they are 70's tubes.

it is a brand from former-times GDR, RFT means "radio-television-technic"
("Radio-Fernseh-Technik"). If you still get them, be careful, it think
they are used nowadays or someone had a biiig store...
