hi niek,
depends on your purposes.
do you want to use the jmp as your only preamp, and the 2101
as mere fx-processor?
then: jmp out to 2101 fxreturn in.
you can change the volume using the mixers (which is a bit
tricky, and will have to be done differently for every patch).
do you want to use both preamps alternatively?
two options:
-place the jmp like above described. connect your guitar to
both the jmp and the 2101 in. by switching the loop settings you can select
which preamp is used. volume control for 2101 preamp like you did before, volume
control for jmp preamp like described above.
- it is also possible to go
guitar->2101in/2101send->jmp1in/jmp out->2101return.
now by setting one the 2101 preamp to clean and very
low gain (as neutral as possible) as well as enabling the fx-loop you can
make the jmp be dominating the sound. this will give you the option to use the
2101preamp as booster.
to use the 2101 preamp exclusively just disable the
fx-loop.
volume control like you are used to it.
i suggest you to check both ways. they will lead to different
results.
hope that helps

Subject: [gsp-2101] 2101 with JMP-1
I want to connect my newly bought Marshall JMP-1 with my
GSP 2101.
Can anyone tell me what is the best way to do that. FX-loop? Or
first
trough the JMP-1? I don't wanna loose the volume-optien in the
expressionpedal.
Thanks,
Niek
