using the mixers to design sounds?

generally spoken: the mixers determine, which amount of which effect is routed to the destination of the mixers. (turning all the mixers to zero, will most probably have the result of a completely dry signal or none at all.)
the concept of the 2101 is very versatile, and hence not as easy to edit as unit X or Y. unlike other units, in which the effects are either completely parallel or serial, the mixers in the gsp2101 allow you to add, say, a particular amont of the chorus to the delay signal etc.
you may want to take a close look at the diagrams of the algorithms to get the idea.
you also might want to try to create your own algorithm to start from your needs, not from the overkill offer, that the preset algorithms provide.

Does anyone understand how to create sounds from scratch. It seems to involve using the mixers.
Thanx- RJ
