i love my 2101 but I am using a soldano sp-77 and man
i am getting some great tone with it. But I was
wondering when you hook up the soldano to the 2101 you
bypass the a lot of good stuff on the 2101 is there
any way to switch back and forth from effects loop to
the 2101 by itself?

You could assign a footswitch on the controlOne to toggle between having the
FX loop on or bypassed, and along with an A/B switch box, you could rout
your signal from your guitar to either the 2101's preamp or your Soldano.
This is one of the options I'm looking at.

Blessings,

Brian

Keep us posted. I've been contemplating the TriAxis but the pricetag is a bit much.

Merry Christmas,

open the cover, pull of knob, pull out pot and spray lighty into small openings anywhere the you can get into using spray tube supplied, work the pot back and forth and reinstall. You may be able to do this without removal but it is easier to control where you want to spray, Also mabe your nut behind knob to pot is loose. Replace the battery while you have it open!

So you opened the 2101 up and sprayed some in the pot. Is there an opening on the pot somewhere to spray into? Excuse my ignorance; Im just thinking about performing this operation myself. My output knob is so bad the right channel barely works. Im wondering if its too far gone because the knob even feels a little loose and has a little play/wobble in it.

Recently had a scratchy pot (output knob) driving me crazy. I picked up a can of DetoxIT D5 by Caig laboratories. Opened the 2101 up and sprayed a little in the pot, worked back and fourth a few times and it works like new since. It has been almost 2 months without recurrence. Simple solution for anyone with similar problems. Also noticed battery getting some corrosion. Installed new battery and sprayed the terminal block with a little DeoxIT for corrosion resistance. Can be used on input and cord jacks for less resistance and greater connections.

P.S. When I replaced battery within 30 seconds or so, I didn't lose any of my stored data (presets). Anyway just sharing a good experience of a product that works!

Rock ON 2101 Users!
