Gain2 quirk

Is this normal or is my machine defective? While the Gain1 parameter varies relatively linearly from 0.6 to 11.0, the Gain2 parameter doesn't. Instead, there's hardly any change from 0.6 to 6.0. Only from 6.0 to 11.0 is there a somewhat linear variation in gain. Do your machines do the same thing? Thanks
