LUG is what NNTP is designed for, plain and simple. First of all - it is not allowed to talk about how the list should be runned on the list... If you've been around this list for a long time you should know this - and if you haven't stick around for a couple of months before you start lecturing others... This mailinglist has been around for a lot of years and it has been working very fine. There are currently over 2000 subscribers to the list. A lot of people have gotten a lot of help here and there is a lot of people here that helps out other people just because they are generous enough to do so. We have already tried a newsgroup, but the people on it agreed the it was best to have all the resources on one place - namely here. It has been a long journey to get the list to where it is at the moment. Web based list are IMHO the worst. Internetsurfing is not free everywhere in the world and things take time with the speed that is currently available around the world. I'm not dicussing this on the list anymore. If you want to discuss it anymore - let's take it to the OT-list. -- Arvid Solvang http://www.viagram.no/privat/arvid/ ICQ: 13008461
