Pardon me, but what the heck do you think we're attacking? We're attacking the Taliban and terrorist strongholds. In fact personally, as someone who has long thought America's had no guts for this and in the past struck often for political reasons (including Carter (well only sort of, he manipulated the news to his political ends), Reagan, Bush Sr. and Clinton), I believe we're going about this the right, careful way. Yes, I realize civilians will get hurt. I wish that were impossible. But I've yet to see evidence we've been anything but careful, INCLUDING from reports from within Afghanistan.
