fair comment, but there is always some way that we can all help cut back on
western societies conspicuous consumption. The bottom line is to ask
yourself at the most basic level - do I need this to exist?
It is a hard line to take but I think we all need to start asking ourselves
those questions and realising we are all part of the problem, and by that I
mean all Western society - and in that I would include Japan, parts of Asia
even portions of China - ie. Western is not geographically but societal in
its description....

on behalf of my own sometimes seemingly militant comments and on those
others who may have unwittingly insulted you  David, I apologise - you are
right, we are all people. But everybody knows that people just dont know how
to get along!! :)

The one victory that Osama Bin Laden will have gained from all this is if he
forces good people to close their minds. Keep listening and commenting, and
discussing David ; we will all of us be better  off for it at the other
side - wherever and whenever that may be.
