Well, I don't have the most stable LAMP setup but I've determined
it's not the trackball causing the problem :) I use a Kensington
Turboball. Most of their 4-button models are great, especially since
they're programmable. In logic I have one button do click, one double
click, one option click (good for copying notes/objects) and one
which is the equivalent of the escape key, which brings up the tools
palette wherever the cursor happens to be, which saves _lots_ of
time. I can work the computer one handed which leaves the other free
for the keyboard, control knobs, etc.

Kensington has been good about releasing updates to their drivers as
problems come to the surface also. I highly recommend them.

Hope that helps,
(another) Tim
