Hi all, I'm thinking of getting one of those two but I can't decide. I need to hear some opinions as far as the two. Being a student, I found a really great academic price at www.computersandmusic.com for Waves Native Gold. $600 for that, puts it at the same price as the UAD card. What I wuld use waves for is the C1, C4, L1, Q10, Ren Comp and Ren Eq. Not a big Reverb or Delay user, so Logic's plugs do that job for me. But on the UAD, you have the LA-2A, 1176, Pultec, and Cambridge. I'm having a hard time deciding. Any thoughts? Anothere concern is my desire to move to OSX, but I'm not going anywhere until PSP MixPack and Vintage warmer are there with me, along with Phatmatik Pro, Stylus and Sampletank. Waves is OSX VST, but UAD is OS9 only, but both have promised AU in the near future. I find that I usually hit the processor speed brickwall and have to start freezing/bouncing (when will emagic implement a bus freeze? that would be nice) about halfway thru mixing with the PSP and Logic plugs, so waves I know would really bring my system to its knees whereas the UAD would help, but I can upgrade my QS733 to a dual 1.33Ghz if budget permits. Which way would you guys go? Mark
